How To: Removing the Factory Head Unit ('24 Sport)

I did not have that issue, mine fired up first try. It could be a thousand different things, but hard to know without being there. Top three things that come to mind are:

1. Confirm the factory harness is fully engaged with the aftermarket plug. I remember having to press pretty hard to get it fully engaged.

2. You’ve wired something wrong (assuming you’ve already cut into the harness).

3. It’s possible the pinout changed between model years. The pinout I shared was from the service manual for a ‘24 Sport (yours is a Sport, right?). It’s unlikely they would change this, but not impossible.

Time to get the ohmmeter out and start checking!

Sorry you had trouble with it. Yeah, I would just plug it straight in and make sure everything works as expected before you cut anything.
