Anyone have a list of mods they're running to get to close to 500 wheel while keeping stock DPs? Don't really want to mess with the primary cats if I don't have to.

This is factually incorrect, but okay. Anythings possible with the right mods. Stock cats max out around 500-550 wheel. You have a z34. Are you on the right forums??
Dude, please stop, you are going to get flamed. The only way to make even close to 500RWHP with the stock turbos is with full downpipes, upgraded HPFP, LPFP, heat exchanger, 80mm intakes and ethanol. Even with that you are pushing the stock turbos so hard, and have spent so much money, you should look into upgrading the turbos. Also, ask any tuner, you cannot push the stock turbos without at least 2.5-inch lower downpipes, because the stock lower cats are so restrictive they cannot turn up the boost to make solid power without the engine having to pull timing and getting a ton of knock retard due to the heat from the turbos.

Who said anything about stock turbos 👁👄👁.

I asked a question about what I need to get there. If I need to do downpipes, I'll do downpipes lol. I also have no problem with removing lowers.. like I said, primary cats, I'd prefer not to touch. Go back to Facebook if you're not going to be helpful ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

If you are putting in new turbos you would need new upper cats because the stock ones will not work, and if you are putting in new turbos, and talking about not changing out your upper cats, then it's a moot point. I am trying to be helpful, but you are saying nonsense.

AMS Alpha 5 is around 500 HP with stock primaries. Do some research at least before you speak.

You realize the alpha 5 package has HPFP, LPFP, Intercoolers and like every single bolt on mod possible and it barely make 500 RWHP. It's just not feasible to make 500RWHP on these cars without throwing a ton of mods at them. And trust me, I know what the hell I am talking about.

Trying to make 500whp through the stock downpipes is just silly, and incredibly inefficient. With that said, it won't be that big of a task if you're at least willing to replace the lower downpipes since those cats aren't monitored. It can even be done on the stock turbos if you're willing to go E85 with custom tuning and full bolt-ons. Doable on pump gas with aftermarket turbos...

Take my mod list below, add E85, and boom there ya go! Or, add some larger aftermarket turbos and you'll be set on 93 pump.

Yeah I figured stock dp wouldn't really work. Seems like the stock turbos might be the biggest limitation in terms of reliability at least.

Do you have a Dyno chart, haven’t seen one at 500 yet, would love to see with stock turbos.

My stock turbos are relatively maxed right now as far as 93 pump goes. To keep them reliable, my boost peaks at 20 psi then tapers off in the upper RPMs. They're basically at the limits of their efficiency. 446whp/477wtq

If I want anything more from the car, it'll have to be ethanol and/or turbos.

I'm probably just going to aim for around number for now. Anything past that, might as well just go full send

It's a reliable and relatively obtainable target, w/o going absolutely bonkers on mods. Going E85 realistically would dang near double what I've already spent on the car by the time you're done with the full conversion kit, pumps, re-tuning, etc. The car is already squirrelly as heck and a handful on the streets. Your chassis will handle it better being a Nismo and might make a touch more power with the upgraded ignition system & improved cooling. Either way, ~450whp is a lot of fun in these cars!

450-500 is the sweet spot! My last car was slightly higher than that and we were creeping into being too quick.
