Need help oil catch can

I think I’d have grabbed the shop vac.
Hopefully the first time you spooled up it blew it into the IC.
Still nervous about it…almost nervous enough to grab some tools (and my shop vac!) and head your way.

I did not think of my shop vac, that’s a great idea. I looked with a mirror, fished around with a grabber, could not find it. I know it went in there. Oh well 2,000 miles and several launch controls and other WOT pulls and no issues.

Trying to install z1 catch can and I cannot get the intercooler off for the life of me. Took off all 4 mounting bolts, both cable disconnected and clamps loosened on throttle body and inlet pipe. Tried to wiggle the intercooler off but it is stuck in there. Removed strut brace and oil cap off for more room but still no help

For me getting it back on was harder. Loosen everything and be prepared for a battle.

Back on was def harder for me. Though I pulled really hard and twisted away from the engine when removing. Now sure if the OP got everything resolved. Added catch can only and no cooling but that seems like the opposite of what I would expect adding cooling upgrades.

I have the Mishimoto catch can. I had a hard time getting the O2 sensor plug apart. I decided to fish the hoses through without removing the intercooler. It was hard but I managed to get it. That O2 sensor plug is a bitch to get disconnected.
