Thanks for the response, it's thorough and really helps. I remember years ago the great rich sound of the Infinity G37 Coupe in stock form. That sound would be perfect, it sounds like your car is close to that. The factory Nismo exhaust is too loud for me. I guess the only problem now is trying to find a complete Auto. Exhaust. Thanks for everyone’s input!

They are findable, eBay probably has some right now for sale. A low mileage example after all shipping and sales tax should run you around $600 to $800. I paid just over $700 all in from a eBay seller. If you can find a local seller maybe around $400 to $600, especially if you got cash!

I have a 6MT Sport.

Installed the Stillen Street series. I will not post openly my opinion of it.

Went with the 9AT muffler, but kept my 6MT mid exhaust section. (6MT mid section does NOT have silencers) . Awesome. THIS IS THE WAY.

I DO want to try the 9AT mid pipe section with the muffler delete, but don't want to spend the $ on the delete, and fart around with the lift.

I have a '25 Performance and opted for the Fast Intentions exhaust with catted down pipes and I'm extremely satisfied. I have a 370Z convertible with Fast Intentions exhaust and yes, there's a bit of a drone. But there's absolutely zero drone on my '25 Performance. Nice growl when I start the engine from cold. The exhaust is fairly quiet until I step on it and rev the RPM's higher. In general the VR30 engine isn't that loud. My old Q60 Red Sport was barely audible. I'm very happy with the increase in growl and tone the Fast Intentions offers. If you want to wake up the neighborhood then you'll need to keep looking. If you just want louder than stock without the annoying drone then I'd look at Fast Intentions

Grab some tubing and swing by my house. I’ll straight-pipe it cheap. I’ve only been MIG welding for a few days, but already my welds are indistinguishable from one of those high-falootin’ robotic welders.

I played around with MIG many years ago. The helmet I had was WAY too dark, I couldn't see crap, and it still wasn't terrible. I don't understand how someone could do THAT bad of a job (above). Not to mention, it had to take them a couple of hours and a half a roll of wire to stack all those boogers up...there's like a million of them.
