I also heard the yellow is not exactly the same either. Not sure if it’s true?

If you are talking the original Proto vs. the production proto spec Z going on sale next spring, the color is a little different. It has been confirmed by Dan Passe at Nissan USA.

The yellow is the same as in base model and limited model.
However it’s slightly different to the proto
People who have seen the production yellow have said it still has a pearl finish that shimmers in the sunlight.
I’m sticking with it

Yes sir, some automakers like Toyota/Scion have brought cameras to these type of events to record people's comments, feedbacks, and reactions for promo material.

I remember some of those stupid Scion commercials where they were shot at a car meets.

I wonder how many of these 240 Proto Specs will be stashed away by collector/auction nuts, too bad really. Meant to be driven, after all it's not really an exotic.
