I'm 83 and I guess the senior in this group. I purchased the 2023 performance Z (in 2023) and LOVE it. There's nothing like the 6 spd stick coupled with the monster engine. Interesting observation: My prior car was the 2010 T-Bird (Ford's last issue). At least once a week I would be approached by a female complementing me on the car (great for the aged male ego). Men also but in a much lower ratio to the women. Since my purchase of the Z the rate and numbed of complements have remained about the same BUT now its mostly men! I'm curious whether others have had similar experiences?

Older folks get sports cars because we can finally afford them. LOL
It provides jobs & keeps the economy runnin'. I've had performance sedans, Z's & Vettes, not to mention Pick-up's, a '62 Willys CJ5, Honda SXS & Kubota tractor.
Never Give Up
Never Give In
And I love drivin' my Z ! Enjoy!

As I fly off from St. Louis, Mo to Columbus, OH, to purchase a 2024 Nissan Z Performance my wife said I must be the stupidest or craziest senior in the entire world, that no one as old as me, 77, would go off and buy the Z or any low slung sports car. I mentioned all the old dudes driving Corvettes around and she says those are weekend toys, not cars they drive on long road trips (I start off on a 4000k miles road trip after Labor Day).

in any case, wonder if seniors or females drive the Z. I know lots drive the European sports cars and Corvettes, but don’t know about the Z drivers.

Comments?
Almost 71, and just got my 24 Performance manual. Have had sports cars most of my life, mostly as weekend/summer toys. I’m now Retired and much more leisurely retired, so decided to make the Z my daily/roadtrip car. Put on All Season tires and I’m good to go!!

Even if is joking that is not a true statement for everyone and that is the mentality of a lot of people. Most fathers place their dreams to the side when they have kids. However, in my mid 30s with kids I got my first 1990 300ZX, at 42 had a 350Z, at 49 my first 370Z, at 59 a 2016 370Z Nismo and now at 62 the Performance Z 2024.

I looked at gr86 but got the Z. I can get in/out the Z so much more easily (being 75yrs young ish 😁)
Really not the same class of vehicle either. Loved the 86 but it definitely is not a GT experience. šŸ˜‚

I am 80. Gave away my twin-Turbo 2009 370Z to my dealer mechanic and bought a 2024 Z Performance. Transmission is notch and have trouble getting Reverse. Mileage is around 6K after 1 year. I have owned sports cars since 1965 and Nissan Sports cars since 1983. 280ZX Turbo, 91 300 ZX Twin Turbo, 93 300ZX Twin Turbo, 2009 370Z.

Didn’t know the 2009 370z had twin turbos. Are you sure?

Yes I am positive, I had Z1 Motorsports in Georgia Install them along with a bunch of other stuff supporting them, Then I had to replace the rear axle when the Turbos blew it up the first time I tried them. Got a LSD rear axle to replace it, which did me fine.

I am 75 and lost my wife of 56 years to cancer Aug. 18th. Three days later I was car shopping because I did not like the MB SLK 300 my wife LOVED! Rode like a lumber wagon. I found a 2024 Z sport manuel with 🌐1800 miles on it and yes, pulled the trigger. Having so much fun in this rocket!
