I have the Z Sport,no Bose or subwoofer. Where can I connect the subwoofer in the back ? Are there any sites that can help with an install? My local audio guy wants $1200 to install a JBL sub in the wheel cavity. Thanks in advance.

I wired up a small sub designed for under seat. Works OK for not spending a ton of $$$. But, I'm leasing the Z and will not place any permanant mods and lots of $$$ into it.

Wires? Well, you have to add the wires for 12V bat, 12V trigger, Hi speaker in and ground. I bought
BLAUPUNKT GTHS-81PRO 8" Amplified Subwoofer and placed it behind passenger seat. Bought installation kit that includes all the wiring needed. BUT, you have to be willing to hook it all up, run the 12v from underhood battery to inside, take off the door panels to access the speakers and run the wires under trim/carpet/seats etc. to the powered sub.. This worked for me.

Here you go. You can see where it’s tied into the harness. The good news is that you only have to gut the whole back end of the car to get to it

Us Sport folk feel your pain. Here is the all-encompassing thread on improving the Sport speakers. I thought I was Yoda when I started the thread, but others present some AWESOME work.

I saw 2ohm and 4ohm. The link you had in a previous post took me to the 4ohm speakers. I did find the 2 ohm, but I had already ordered the 4ohm, so I will need to return the 4ohm and order the 2 ohm? Thanks
