The escort radar+dashcams look nice. I have their radar and dashcam separately. The bitrate of the dashcam isn't that good tho. It has all the GPS, collision detection, recording lock, hud display with telemetry. Also supports always on with motion record. It will know when the car isn't running and stay powered on. Also supports internet streaming.

That one looks pretty good! Easy to install?

Sorry, just saw your question 10 months later.

It was easy to install. Pain in the butt was fishing the USB DOWN the dash on the passenger side. The USB plug for dinged up. Had to straighten it out.

Plugged it in to the power adapter at the passenger's feet. I've had the good intention of getting the always-on power adapter, but haven't bothered yet.

I thought about this for my Z33, but never did a lot of research or pulled the trigger. One difference I see between the Z33 and RZ34 is the windshield behind and around the rearview mirror is completely blacked out on the RZ34, a lot of surface area. Most of the dashcams I remember were mounted behind or next to the rearview mirror, and it seems like it would have to move farther away on the new Z to avoid all the other stuff up there. Is there a cam/system/mounting loc that's relatively inconspicuous?

Check out what Blendmount has to offer

Do you have a pic of this installed in your Z? I'm considering one of these or perhaps another mirror mount for my 2024 Performance Z.
I purchased the G900 after seeing this post. For $250 it is bad ass. Better than I thought. Swapping out the mirror was pretty easy, but running the rear cam to the back under the trim was a pain (as expected).

I didn't go with that power adapter because I want to use the parking feature. I'm going to try an OBD2 usb adapter today, if that doesnt work well I'll just hardwire it.

I'll share a photo when it's done, just waiting on a part.

Remember, Nissan has that pigtail power adapter. It is in your car now if you have the lighted sill plates. It's about 4"from the obd2

Nice I didn’t know that. Do you know where I can buy the adapter only?

Pardon my ignorance on this, but apart from the dash cam aspect, are systems like the G900 meant to be video rear view mirrors, or just better back up cameras?

It works as a digital rear view mirror and it does it well. It’s only been 2 days but so far I love this feature the most. I get a very wide fov and it’s very clear. I can see all of the lanes behind me and it helps awareness much more than I expected.

I have been looking around a bit on this and have seen several that advertise as having a lot of "all around" functionality but for my simple needs I only want a drive-time dash cam. I would love to have the all around cameras like my Murano has especially for parking as this Z is low to the ground and close to the curbs in front. There are several on amazon that have multiple cameras which need to be wired. If there were a wireless option I would consider that.
