I don't see that raised bit from the paint there. How did you work around it?

Could go look at mine, but I’ve got a lot of Le Mans to watch and F1 coming up. No time to waste today! I believe Diamond Black Pearl is fully painted the same color, roof, hatch and all.

I have no idea the technique they used - I didn't wrap it myself Designer Wraps in Glassboro NJ did it. Thought you would like to see that it can be done - never came up as an issue either.

To confirm, my Black Diamond Pearl has no line. The hatch is completely painted the same color.

Your car was originally solid black if I recall, not the two-tone like OP. I don't believe yours has the line / lip that he's concerned about.

Yes - my car was completly Black Diamond Pearl

just to bump this; got it painted in December, as well as some additional parts fitted. a week away from ceramic coating (Fireball Dok Do, apparently well suited product to Australia) and photo's/vids will follow.
