I installed this today. Quality product and I love the service panel as I do my own oil changes.

Race Ramps worked great with the low clearance of the Z.

The only issue I ran into was I could not figure out how the rivet tool was supposed to work so I tapped in the thread rivets with a rubber mallet instead. It worked great and the bolts tightened up nice and secure.

Looks super nice. I feel like Z1 always makes quality products for our Z’s. I feel like I don’t ever see anyone buying their Z1 exhaust though.

I had issues with the included rivet tool at first too and mine seized up as I was using it incorrectly. I had it upside down. Once I realized the FLAT part of it needed to be up against the riv-nuts and I could use a socket on the bottom part of the tool and wrench on the top I was able to un-seize it and break it loose and it was smooth sailing. Glad they provided an extra riv-nut too cause I had to break the first one I did and blow it out of the hollow metal bar you screw them in to.

From my experience and yours it seems like their instructions could be more clear for sure. I agree though that once installed it's a solid part and will make oil changes so much easier to perform. A big reason I got it. Also it's functional!

I got the non-anodized one (silver) because the extra $ to me was not worth it but I do like the looks black one more.

OK that is what I was doing wrong I had it upside down but never figured it out.

Fortunately the rubber mallet worked. I was getting a little aggravated with that part, you are correct there needs to be specific instructions on how to use that thing.
