Z1 Undershroud

Has anyone installed the Z1 undershroud on their Z? I'm wondering if there is any less ground clearance with the Z1 undrshroud installed compared to the factory undershroud? Also, is the service panel large enough to make for a non-messy oil/filter change? Thanks for any info.

I’m interested as well! Strong aluminum is much better at protecting than plastic.

I bought one for my Z32 and it mimicked the stock unit for clearances, mounting points, and access. It seems logical every other model takes the same path.

Here is Z1's responce to the ground clearance question:

Yes the Z1 undershroud is designed to give a similar clearance, possibly a little better clearance since the aluminum one does not require the ribs like the plastic one does for support.

I installed the Z1 undershroud on my Z yesterday. The ground clearance looks to be the same as with the plastic factory undershroud. Also, the service panel appears large enough for easily changing the oil and filter. I'm happy with the purchase.
