There you go, nailed it.
But the problem is that stock diameter is 26.7” and stock Performance is 27”. We don’t want the same on a car with wheels and tires that look too small. I don’t anyway. Defeats the purpose for me.

Might as well just complete this with the +1 upsize comparison. The 265 may be a bit much diameter, but I really like the width. Obviously 255 will bump the tire to same diameter as the Performance and fill the wheel well up the same, which is good.

You have to figure out what’s going to float your boat. Honestly though, you’re not going to notice .3 of an inch in height, however, if you were to jump from 245 up to 275 the added width will be a huge difference in looks and traction.

Check out my post from earlier this week. My wheel diameter, width, offset, and tire size is nearly as discussed @ 245/45F and 275/40R - I brought the car back to more neutral handling with a larger dia front sway bar and left the rear stock. The 245 on front offers phenomenal turn in, especially if you’re an autocross enthusiast and the look is damn good in my opinion. I also mounted 275/40 on the rear stock sport wheels to use as a backup track day set to compare against the potenza sport.
