Chapter 11 doesn't mean they're going under, it will allow them to stay in business and reorganize their obligations. GM filed the largest bankruptcy in US history and they're still making and selling cars.

There are various reports in Aus this is one, another is they will be closing up shop…regardless it’s still a sign of the times
