Trans beep

Was getting a little rowdy.. there was a beep noise, was not the check engine bonk noise, that came from the trans tunnel, checked for codes, nothing there, anyone have insight on this? I kinda assume it was a speed sensor or something

Are you talking about the automatic transmission ? Mine will beep at me if I try to shift at the wrong time, and I get a flash on the instrument panel too. If you have a manual tranny then I have no idea.
