Hey guys! I just wanted to thank you guys for helping me get my dream car a couple weeks ago! I’ve already tinted the windows, got a full ceramic coat and PPF for the front bumper, hood, and headlights.

What do you guys think are the top three mods that you almost HAVE to get on the Z? Specifically the Performance model M/T? I’ve heard from other threads that the Front Sway Bars are almost a must? This is my daily driver, and I do not plan on tracking this car anytime soon or in the near future.

Also, is there any way to add/install Remote Start? Thank you guys again for your help and tips/advice!!!

Great looking car! This might be my favorite Z that I've seen so far. Have you done any mods to the interior?

It does changes the way the car drives. Since the axle would give you a "wider" stance, it feels as it helps with cornering.
The spacers vary in prices; depending on what company you use. Between $270 to $300+
I see! Honestly I am definitely now adding spacers to the list! Thank you for your input!

Ive got the exact same car, PPF'd and had it ceramic coated right away. I also blacked out the sword trim with 3M Matte Black, then window tint. 20mm Z1 spacers all the way around until the tire fairy passes for Christmas (these spacers are absolutely ace). We dont have a remote start option for the MTs but if you press your unlock button on the key fob twice and hold it, the windows will roll down halfway to let the interior cool. I was going to get into aftermarket mods but the car is such a blast in its stock form. Im going to get every pennys worth of my warranty after hearing about Nissans financial woes and the gray area of aftermarket performance parts and warranty.
I see you did 20mm spacers all around while CPerdomo did 15mm on his front. How does the 20mm feel on the front and do you think it’s a better look and feel?

Thanks a lot! I have not done any mods in the interior, but I really do want to change out the sound system inside and install a nice subwoofer! Just not sure how to go about doing that since I wouldn’t be installing it myself

Could you show us pictures of the blacked out sword trim? I've been considering that for a while.

Originally, I did 20mm in the front & 25mm at the rear. But IMHO, it sticks out too much. Which means that every time you go over water, mud or anything else, it would splash the side paint badly. Then I got acquainted with the process of how spacers should be measured. And the closest "safe" figures are 15mm at the front and 20mm at the rear.

The car looks and drives better. I could see a 15mm on the front but the 20mms all the way around is about perfect for my taste. The Z1 spacers are hub-centric and I have absolutely zero vibration at any speed. They look great too.

I have the same. One of the only two mods I have done besides the Z1 bov conversion kit.

I did all my vinyl the day after I brought it home. PPE on the bumper, fenders and headlights at the same time.

The shop referred to the Katana job as "window trim delete".

Can you take a photo of the rear view straight on? I was thinking about making that area black too, but not sure how it would look.
