I have a Sport 6MT, but with a LSD. I am breaking the stock Yokohamas loose without really trying.

I need better tires.

I will probably keep the stock rims for a long time, but MIGHT run spacers and/or lowering springs.

I want a staggered setup. Will these rub with OR WITHOUT spacers?

Continental Extreme Contact Sport02

275/40R18 (Rear)

245/45R18 (Front)

See my post above with my wearing Yokohamas.

I think your tire spec should look good . I went Squared Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 265/45R18.

That looks incredible. Your rears look like they protrude out a bit. Ever have a tire bite the inside of that fender?

I think 275 with a 20mm spacers would work fine.

I think 275 with stock wheel offsets will be fine.

Anyone running 275s?

Do you have to have spacers to run 265s?

Yep! With the sport oem wheels yes.
So, in this thread...

https://www.nissanzclub.com/forum/threads/wheel-fitment-for-z-sport.5456/page-2

@NickyG says you DON'T need spacers to run 275/40R18 tires in the rear.

I'm hoping to have 245/45R18 in the front and 275/40R18 in the rear installed on Friday.

IF I put 275s in the rear without spacers, are they going to rub? Impact the wheel well on the inside? Does anyone else have experience with 275s on a Sport?

EDIT: Not trying to start a flame war. I just see two opposite opinions from folks who have more experience than I do....

Do you have lowering springs? I'm not sure if you will rub because I have 265/45 's but my tire wall height it higher (45) hmmm. Ask around.

No lowering springs. Only thing different on my Sport is the LSD, which wants bigger tires so it stops frying the stock 245s.

You should be okay then I think. I'm lowered.

Debating between 275/40/18 or 295/35/18 on the rear. Only thing is factory sport wheels are 9”. I am running 15mm spacers And stock height. A 295 should have a 9.5 or wider wheels but a lot of posts say people run this setup all the time without tire wear or tire performance Issues. anyone try this yet.

Went with 245/45r18 up front, and 275/40r18 in the rear. I would NOT go wider than 275 on the stock sport rim. (This is written on an official tire guide somewhere. Can't find the link.) The tire will DEFINITELY find the curb first.
