Metra 70-7552 and 71-7552 but I did have to move a pin for the reverse wire to operate the back up camera but that was just on one harness. Very easy. I used this diagram to make sure everything was correct.
I did not cut any wires in my installation. I used all Metra wiring harnesses. Took a couple days to come in. I have used Metra harnesses for twenty plus years and it worked great.
Debating between 275/40/18 or 295/35/18 on the rear. Only thing is factory sport wheels are 9”. I am running 15mm spacers And stock height. A 295 should have a 9.5 or wider wheels but a lot of posts say people run this setup all the time without tire wear or tire performance Issues. anyone try...
I hate my yokohama Advan Sports. Wet conditions make me really nervous because they like to hydroplane ( not even driving hard ). I will be replacing them before summer for Continental ecs2 or Michelin ps4s.
I bought Metra harnesses the male and female versions. One thing that was an issue was one of the harness was missing the reverse wire but I pulled one pin out I wasn’t using and put it where it needed to be. Didn’t find that out till I had put the whole car back together 🤦‍♂️. I’m very good...
I just did my 2024. Took a minute to figure out how then the other side was like 30 minutes. I used z1 15 mm spacers and ARP extended studs. Definitely use the tool for them because it really is inexpensive. So what I learned is just pull the calipers off then pull the rotor off. In the front...
I’m curious if you guys had to go to the dealership and turn off the ANC on your cars to have a decent sound system. In the Bose systems it’s built into the amp but in the sport models is it built into the head unit. Just trying to prepare for more frustration lol.
I would highly doubt the pin out changing from trim models from my experience. Do you know how much that would cost manufacturers to do that from trim models and other models from that manufacturer in general. Now being a different harness completey from Bose and non bose that is possible. Also...
I'm going to try this but it looks right. Metra 70-7552 and 71-7552. This should be the male and female radio harness. this makes it simple and is color coded with description of what each wire does. I used many metra parts back in there days of installing car audio. I will give an update when done.
Unfortunately this could happen with any manufacturer. I had this happen with my brand new F250 Lariat. $100K truck just sitting at the dealership for 3 months. I had to get really mean with the insurance company and the dealership until they both started working together. PS my attorney...
Yeah I seen that one. The only thing that is scaring me in removing the vents above the stereo. I did professional car audio for twenty years so I have some experience just a little rusty. Nothing scared me in my twenties. I would rip a car a part. ?
I know there has to be locations I can find the speaker wires in the vehicle without removing the stereo. I was hoping there was a harness somewhere I could get everything. I searched and searched but not much info on these vehicles except for Bose systems or removing the head unit. I can go...
