Stripes?

Anyone added stripes to there Z? I’m looking to add stripes along the rocker panel similar to the heritage look. Maybe a little bigger second strip and gap. Did an online search, but not sure what I’m looking at. Should I go to the custom shop in town and see what they can do? Thanks for any help.

Doesn't hurt to look into it. Anything different than the OEM stripes may look a little tacky so be careful. Usually Dodge and Ford are better with the stripes. My Nissan nismo came with the OEM factory stripes and it actually doesn't look too bad.

"Tacky" vs "not-tacky" is a very narrow line to walk IMHO

I feel like someone on this forum added custom stripes similar to the heritage. I can’t remember who it was though.

The factory stripes to me are just awful. I don't think the shape of the recent Z's lends itself to nice stripes. Lower sides of the car seems best. Personal preference is best.

Just added them to my Z. Similar to the Heritage edition but a little different. I am thinking of trying the one on the hood bulge next.

A wrap shop would definitely be the way to go. The local place here can take a picture of the car and overlay any stripe design you can imagine.

Yes I did. I took in a picture of the Heritage edition as a reference. The slight difference in the "Z" was their suggestion.
