Hello! I just bought a 2025 Solid Red Nismo, being shipped to me next week. At the same time I bought a full Varis ARISING-1 Widebody Kit, along with all optional accessories (Front Hyper Canards, Swan Neck GT Wing, Rear Diffuser w/ Vertical Fins, Rear Spoiler, Cooling Bonnet). I had to move quick on the Varis since Bulletproof had a single one in-stock, avoiding a 6-12 month wait. Plan is for a show-car quality JDM-style build -- all Japanese brands wherever possible. Air suspension, seats, deep dish wheels, exhaust, livery, lighting, maybe audio, engine bay, everything is fair game. But no perf mods since this is California -- just a JB4 piggyback.

Why did I choose the Z Nismo? I already own a 2024 GT-R. I bought it with the intention of going nuts, but decided it was too valuable to cut up. The Z is a great car with a storied history and will serve as a "go wild" contrast to my GT-R. I've done mods to my GT-R but they are all easily reversible. What I do to my Z won't be lol.

Only pics I've got so far are these from the dealership which is shipping the car to me (I'll shout them out once I get the car, so far they've been great.) Also throwing in a pic of what the body kit looks like, but don't take that as gospel regarding what I want to do on the car.

Very cool.
Will the lip spoiler, canards and rear diffuser fit the NISMO bumpers, or do you have to switch to the Sport/Perf bumpers?

I'm not sure. Clearly the Varis show car in the last picture is not a Nismo. I'm guessing I will be the first to apply this to a Nismo. Currently figuring out what local shop I want to use to do the install. Cutting, clear-coating/painting, and general bodywork will be necessary anyway. Hoping I won't have to swap any actual body panels from a non-Nismo just to get things to fit.

Nice!!! Cant wait to see how it turns out. I just got my VARIS rear spoiler from Bulletproof yesterday and going to put it on my performance this weekend.

Looks like the Varis spoiler won't fit on my Nismo because of the OEM side sections. Can't leave them out because they appear to be drilled-in and will expose holes, sigh. Could have them filled-in but then both rear quarters need a full repaint. There may be some alternative CF spoilers from other brands that are 3-piece and might cover the holes. I'll try to get one of those and will likely sell the Varis spoiler.

Damn, yeah I thought the nismo edition had wider fenders which would make the Varis spoiler not fit completely flush with the body. Of course everything can be fabricated with the right amount of money and patience. But I am sure there are other good Japanese made spoilers out there that will look nice if you decide to sell the Varis one.

Maybe the Rocketbunny one? That's for widebody kits and is pretty agressive.

Found at least two companies doing 3-piece real CF spoilers but they are all 4-8 months out. I think I'll just CF wrap the OEM spoiler and sell the Varis. There are some excellent wraps out there these days so I think it will look close to real if done right. (I don't even have the car yet and am already running into build problems lol. Hopefully this isn't a bad omen...)

BRIDE seats incoming (3-4 months, so very slowly incoming). The OEM Recaros will be sold. A pointless swap to most people but I was deadly serious when I said this would be a JDM build.

Haha, I think our new Zs are cursed sometimes. I got my exhaust put on about 40 miles from my house and immediately got a flat tire after leaving the shop. Had wheel spacers put on and the front ones grinded in my wheel hub, had to order new ones. Then when I was getting an alignment they noticed washers were missing on my rear camber arms. Hoping just a bit of a new buyer bad luck 🤣 and all is smooth and fun from now on!

BTW I am still looking for a shop in the SF Bay Area to do the install. Prior documented experience with installing and possibly customizing complex body kits is a must. I have some good leads already but any recs are appreciated.
