Stereo infotainment resets.

Yesterday while scanning through radio stations from the button on the system the infotainment system reset. Then today after sending a text throu CarPlay the screen went black. Anyone else having these issues?

havent seen it on my Z but the wifes 2022 pathfinder does this occasionally and im pretty sure its the same hardware/software

I find that Apple products have become far more glitchy than Android in the last year or so.

I carry both am iPhone and Android phone for my work, and the iPhone is an annoying POS compared to my Pixel 6a, or my last Moto G5.

I find that my Android Auto stuff is super reliable on all of our cars (but I don't have a Z) and the iPhone is so bad I refuse to use it except for calls.

Many infotainment issues are brought on by the tethered phone. Hopefully the infotainment software is stable, and your phone will be updated soon with more stable software.

I’ve had the phone for two plus years, and been using iPhones with wireless CarPlay with an aftermarket stereo in my Maxima for even longer with no issues. I do not believe it has anything to do with Apple. As the problem happened once while scanning fm stations and once after sending a text through CarPlay.

I've not seen any reset take place, but today I noticed that my GPS address book is empty and my home location is gone. What a PITA!

That stinks. I don’t use the Nissan gps, but I can imagine loosing all my addresses.
