I pulled a bunch of part numbers since I haven't seen any definitive information on this, and have actually seen some people stating some incorrect information as fact.
Looks like upgrading to the Nismo brakes could be tricky. I've seen people argue that the booster and master cylinder don't need to be swapped, that the differences are negligible. Only seen this cited as "trust me, bro", though. What scares me more is the different ABS control unit. If the Nismo has a unique control unit, it's safe to assume there is some other incompatible electronic shenanigans going on.
Upgrading from Sport to Performance is much more straight forward. However, I was surprised to find that the Sport has a unique parking brake assembly. Not sure why, or if that would even matter for a brake swap. But it's odd that I've never even seen it mentioned.
Also worth noting that these are pre-facelift part numbers, so a lot of them will be obsolete. But this was more about understanding the differences in trims than getting up to date part numbers.
