SOHO Motorsports single exit system for the Z

What do you guys think about the single exhaust?

It cracks me up when I see a car like this with a diffuser for dual exhaust and just a single on one side. Not my thing anyway but it would look way better with a single exit diffuser. Block off plates never look right to me.

I was going to complain about single exit on a dual bumper, but I'm glad to hear that they are aware that some people would like a finished look to the unused bumper notch.
I do like singles, reminds me of the last Toyota Supra, might be a little lighter too.
I wonder if that black apron is detachable? On my wife's Toyota, it has a similar design to the rear bumper, and the black apron can be removed and changed out with one from other countries that have different exhaust styles.....

The power gain was decent too. Nice to see a back-to-back dyno in the same facility.

My last turbo car, a Mk7 GTI, the cat back was not a restriction. You could get over +100hp with a DP and JB4 on stock exhaust, changing the exhaust, even with those 2 mods, usually only gained a couple HP, most people kept the stock exhaust if they wanted a sleeper look.
Obviously the Z is super constrictive.

It'll be interesting if they keep up with the comparison dyno pulls, really interested to see what getting rid of those stock downpipes will do. Whether just a set of lowers, or full. I'm sure it'll be a pretty huge gain

I personally love the classic JDM look with the single exit, just can't stand the empty hole on the other side. Seems like there is an option now to add a cover.
