I’d love to participate in this cycle of development on the Redtiger F17. I’ve posted reviews for a few decades spanning every platform I‘ve touched. You can expect commitment and borderline OCD fidelity on process and feedback coverage. I have a 6k cam and an Autel Evo II 640T.

I’d prefer to simply pay cost and would prefer and even assist with a free giveaway another to this community, particularly anyone dealing with suspicious/malicious activity around their family, property or Z. A few have been posted and would be easy to find. I’d love to assist the community filtering cruft to find incredible solutions the first time.

I’m already in the market for optics on this car so let’s roll. If this product is still teething or inferior at this price point that will be the primary focus of my feedback, just a heads up.

Hello RedTiger, while what I think you are doing is great, what does the tester and reviewer get? It is not clarified what the reviewer gets from the effort of reviewing. Does the reviewer keep the unit? Does the reviewer get a discount on a product?

@Redtiger - I responded same day you reached out and have followed up twice, yet haven’t heard anything from ya. I coach, travel, have a gaggle of boys and a FT job. Would love to help but if I don’t hear from you by end of weekend please select someone else. I hope you can understand, just not worth the cognitive load to assist if this is what I can expect from a comms standpoint.

Ok @Redtiger please select someone else, thanks again for the opportunity and I apologize for not being as willing to stand by waiting for any sort of response. If these were to come in 2 more week it would be late July or early August before I’d even be able to touch them and I know that wouldn’t work for ya.

I’ve already watched a number of the reviews and I’m genuinely shocked that so many features can be baked into the F17s price point. I hope to pick them up for my Z and my wife’s cx-9 down the road.

That said, without further ado, here is my review of the F17 Elite System:

- Looks incredible, although reviews seem a tad biased. Awaiting real-world reviews but genuinely intrigued.

- If RT’s comms are lean to non-existent with their beta testers (literally 20 - 30 hours of work on install pre & post editing, all said and done for roughly $13/hour at full price, less than $10/hour on sale) to help them promote their own product I’d be leery concerning technical support response times.

; )

* this is an unbiased review, I was not paid or compensated in any way. *

Hi Mike,

Thank you for your enthusiasm and interest in Redtiger! We completely understand that you might not be able to post your review in June, and that’s absolutely fine. We would still love to have you as one of our testers. I sent you a message, please check it.

Thanks for getting back to me and being flexible on deliverable timing! I’m looking forward to it, by the time I install it we’ll be headed to FL -> PC which should yield some pretty neat footage. Was hoping to have it for CMP but timing is just a tad tight. In any case, I’m thrilled we’re good to go!

I am going to spell check the CRAP out of this review! But seriously, look forward to hearing your thoughts about it. Dash cams are a "buy once, cry once" sort of item.

It'd be cool if it keeps GPS telemetry data where we could use the data points in videos such as tracking the car with g force, speed, elevation, etc. My GoPro has that but never owned a dashcam so not sure. I would think some data would be there to help prove speed?

Yeah man my brain never allows me to commit spelling or grammar to memory for some reason. My Mom is a retired Federal Court Reporter, it drove her bonkers haha

Yeah I’m hoping, if not the info should be able to be abstracted via secondary utility/etc without much fuss I’d think.
