Recommendation for Waterproof Car Cover?

Has anyone found a good fitting, long lasting, outside waterproof car cover for the new Z?

I thought about buying one, but the general consensus i was told was you'll just damage your paint unless it is washed every single time before putting it on, and even then its not guaranteed.
