Only experience I have related to chip manufacturing, was a part-time job in college, cleaning chip facilities. We had to put on bunny suits, and carefully clean certain areas, so as not to introduce dust or other contaminants into the area.

Funny thing is those suits aren’t there to protect you, they’re to protect the product from us!! We’re big dirty particle generating factories !!!
