I still don't see the why in addin them, espciceally where I live.We rarely get 5" yearly of rain and don''t take the z out in weather. That is for the 98 truck.

I love my Z ....... the tint on the rear hatchback ---- may be illegal in my state. BUT --- everyone is BEHIND ME and they will stay there. OWNED!

I can tell your very passionate about your Z and how you can’t fathom spending the money on the mud guards.

I’m not sure who said they “hope” it improved performance but that doesn’t seem correct.

That being said, I was also torn about whether or not to get these since my Z is black and I am not sure it will even be that noticeable(looks wise only). I will have these installed and continue to love my Z with or without the Nissan designed splash guards.

I got the front and rear mud guards installed. My wife asked me “wait what did you do? I don’t notice a thing.” I took a quick pic after a much needed wash.

That was your worry! Definitely not as noticeable on a black Z but still looking good.

I put mine on 2 months ago and I'm pleased with how they help frame my tires a bit better with 25mm spacers installed.
