Nissan Z Canadian discussion (owners or soon to be!)

This is not an assumption,I checked 6 different cars listed at MSRP on Nissan Canada's website and all 6 were considerably higher when I contacted the dealers.

Some are inaccurate on the website paint codes/extra added upgrades. Im actually going into morrey to pick up the all weather mats this week. My procedure if u want the car at msrp avoid the island ones due to they have bad inventory/rep, ask if they are selling msrp they say yes, ask for full invoice and have you and the sales sign off on it and go pick it up. Any other twists and turns or negotiations means they are probably not trying to sell at msrp and you can hang up and go to the next dealer. These high volume dealerships love to keep rep and usually whatever they list is fully broken down.

This one has me a bit confused. 2024. VIN serial is 360219. It's a Proto spec... unless they're using older photos? idk lol

*EDIT* Ok, definitely looks like they're using old photos. The dashboard is reading 18c outside at 10:44am. It' definitely hasn't been that warm in a while, lol

That is the one I bought. Having issues getting insurance because they say the VIN is invalid (is made for foreign market/not for Canadian market, or is an incomplete vehicle for commercial use). ?

So u got it already? Mine also wasnt in the system yet cuz it was too new but im sure its been fixed

Can't get insurance because the VIN comes out as invalid. It's been almost 2 weeks since the dealer got the car now.

That's crazy really, because the VIN should be searchable online with vin checks and such, maybe some companies don't have the 24 MY Z in the database yet. I remember a similar issue with my 2013 Fusion I took delivery of in 2012, they didn't have anything in their system to go off. So they just called it a 2012 until it was refreshed. But I guess if it won't validate the VIN that's seems more of a them problem rather than you. I'd be pretty pissed

Haha I just did last year, it's a little dirty right now S30 apparently lost a lot of transmission oil. Just used cat litter to soak it up, should probably wash it
