The 370Z or new Z have rear mcpherson strut?
All the information I can find says both have a multi link rear suspension. On the 370Z, the spring and shock are separate. So no MacPherson strut.

This is an old post, but since we know more about the specs, I'm still wondering what the changes are in the suspension 'mounting points'. This is to help caster, camber, bump steer? Basic susp design, ala double wishbones and multi link are the same.

i'm trusting nissan to get it right here. they know the chassis well and i'm sure they are aware of its strengths and weaknesses.

sounds like they stiffening things up to handle the 400+ hp, knowing people are gonna mod them.
