2015 Infiniti Q70S 5.6 RWD, Fully loaded - if it came on a Q70 in 2015, this car has it.

Best part is, only Infiniti dealers have ever touched it - I have the entire service history.
All scheduled maintenances were done like clockwork.

Near future.....
- Intake?
- PPE Headers
- Custom Exhaust by Walker Pro Motorsport
- Tune
- Wheels Hubs
- NEW ENGINE

- R35 Wheels
-- Pilot Sport 5 S
- R35 Brakes

Down the line....
- Nissan Fuga Grill / Badging / Airbag Cover
- Supercharger?

Update: This sucker was full of surprises, regular unleaded screws the fuel system on these (shoutout to the previous owner)

Low Pressure Fuel Pump, Fixed, HPFP went out on the test drive.
High Pressure Fuel Pump, Fixed, Noticed an odd sound on startup....learned about VKs and Lifter Valve Buckets
Timing System, got it replaced - car pulls great!

During a morning of spirited driving, I went to pickup breakfast for my Wife....noticed a sound I hadn't heard since my 240k+ mile S13's original KA24 went.

So on a VK56, when you do the timing chain job, there is a lil' O-Ring that can back out and block oil flow to your motor. My VK56 started telling knock, knock jokes - I didn't laugh.

Took forever to find another car version of the VK56, let alone one that was clean and sub 100k mi (they are pretty rare.)

Found a motor, tore it down, replaced EVERYTHING (at this point only the metal itself is used)

Was very happy to see how clean this motor was internally.

She drives like a dream now. I plan on overhauling the suspension next month.

wow...that's crazy. hopefully all goes well.

when you mentioned the timing chain, it reminded me of when mine went out on my '77 f-150. mechanic fixed it, but didn't know those old ford engines had plastic coated timing gears to run more quietly.

long story short, the broken teeth fell into the pan and got sucked up by the oil pump which got clogged, and burnt up the motor...

I'm more pissed off I had to find an actual car version of the motor. I was hoping I could just swap the dual intakes/throttles over - nope.

My advice to anyone buying a 5.6 M/Q - Buy a spare motor

I've found tons of sketchy, ghetto, DIY BS with this car - I'm getting it right though.

Previous owner was cheap AF and did goofy shit like....replace a single corner if something went out rather than 2 or 4 corners.

Because of this, the daily bounces in really weird ways when I hit bumps. All 4 shocks have different miles on them - one is blown, one is almost gone, one is old but decent and the other seems newer than the other 3.

Today I've learned with Y51 you only have 2 paths for dampening.
- Stock OEM shocks and struts, there is no aftermarket option here.
- Coilovers

I want to keep the ride plush but I want to firm it up a bit to be comfortable and stable at 100+

Anyone know of some coils that won't jar the bones of me and everyone else in the car?
