I also have this system installed on my stock Z along with Nismo intakes. Under acceleration, this auditory feedback is purely bliss.
Not sure if this applies to the automatic; but on the manual, it drones from 1,700-2,500 RPMs.
It is a bit annoying to me as I like to cruise at ~65 MPH in 6th. But a BIG benefit is that you have an audio cue that you are outside of the Z’s power band.
If you hear it, you know you are in a sub-optimal RPM range and either need to speed up or downshift.
I don't usually buy exhausts but I do not regret this purchase.
