Yup.
That's what I was saying too. You can see they added those slots to the 2025+ model Frontiers too, as an homage to the old hardbody probably.

in 2024 they had a Frontier hardbody edition, kind of like the Z heritage editions with call-back things to the old models - in the case of the Frontier hardbody it was the old school 4X4 decals, old school looking wheels and a few other things. Not the 3 slots though which is kind of funny since they added those to all Frontiers a year later.

Good rendering, I can get back into this. Sold my Off Road with plenty of reliable miles at 166K.

New models need to tow at least 5000 lbs like the predecessor.

there are some cool styling cues on the new model, but the original is hard to beat imho. the design is classic and still holds up
