Manual Shifter Vibration

My 2024 Performance MT has 3,000 miles on it. I took a trip the other day and spent a lot of time in heavy traffic in Atlanta. When I got back up to highway speed I noticed a high frequency vibration in the shift knob when I held it to shift. It felt like a hum but was not audible. I have not felt this before. It is not severe. Has anyone noticed this? Thanks so much.

I've always noticed a little vibration on the shift lever. Some cars I've owned recommend not to rest your hand on the shifter when you're not shifting, but I didn't find any advice like that in the 23 owner's manual. It's probably normal.

If it seems significantly more than before, probably best to get it checked.

Thanks so much for your comment. I was always taught not to rest my hand on the shifter. I’ll get it checked out if it gets worse. Odd to me that it started in the middle of my trip. Thanks again.
