I've been taking out interior plastics out of the rear of my Z, and after looking online at YouTube videos and threads, I'm starting to wonder if I should take off the rear strut brace. From the Regular Car Reviews YouTube channel, he says that the 370z rear strut is not functional, and I'm wondering if there's any truth to that, especially with the RZ34.

Also, I am interested in tracking my Z, so any bit of extra performance is preferred.

Isn't this a carry over from the 350z where it was directly between the strut towers?
They moved it forward in the 370z for more space, if it didn't serve a purpose they wouldve removed it wouldn't they?

You look like you're most of the way there. Pull it out and report back
