I really need some help here guys.
I live in Switzerland and have strict laws on modifications. (This car is not sold in Europe and also Swiss laws are very strict compared to other Europan countries)
I am facing a big problem with buying a front lip. I was set on the Seibon MB style lip kit but the front lip is not going to be legal.
I still want to get the Seibon kit but I need a different front lip that is carbon.
The front lip cannot protrude more than 5cms / 1.97 inches from the most outward part of the bar.
The measurement is to be made in the center of the front bar with a level and then a ruler or tape measure to see how many (preferrably) centimeters it protrudes.
The next measurement is to be made further over the side of the bar and measured the same.
The very side of the bar near the wheel does not matter only the front of the bar where youre most likely to hit a pedestrian head on.
I attached an example of an M3 how to measure. As you can see, this cars front lip is in range.
Please help
