I bought my Daughter her 1st car.

Daughter turns 16 in October, she begged that I don't put her in a beater.
Wife told me "You have a budget of 5k, find her something reliable cheap and safe"

So, I did

I found the last not clapped out IS 300 in Texas and I didn't pay over 10k for it lol

My Daughter is the 3rd owner, owner #2 bought it as a CPO in 2004 and it was the daily / family sedan until Covid so the car has been parked since 2020. Owner #1 was a lease.

Car is from NC but has been in TX for the past 20 years.

215k miles but all the 2JZ hotspots were addressed 20k miles ago and, not a single rattle in that interior.

I told her "Babe, just keep it in one piece through High School and you'll be able to sell it for 4x what I paid for it"

No crazy go fast stuff, the goal is "Clean Classic" with reliability, That 2J will last her forever.

- Paint is nice enough where it's worth a paint correction w/ Ceramic and PPF
- I've already restored the headlights (sanded, recleared, PPF) - Foglights are next
- Replacing all the Halogen bulbs in this thing with LED bulbs
- She wants a JDM rebadge, I'm gonna go all the way for her
-- (Trunk Badge, Grill, Wheel Center Caps, Airbag Cover, Gauge Cluster Overlay, Floor Mats, Rear Speaker Grills)
- Car Play screen in the OEM Nav Housing so it keeps the Updated/OEM+ theme
- Fresh Michelin Pilot Sport 4 All Seasons
- PowerStop Rotors
-- If she needs more brakes after this, I'll go the IS350 F-Sport Brakes x Wheels route.

I havent heard the word TEZZA in 20 yrs. Oh the memories

I miss mine. I went through a lot of phases in the 12 yrs I owned her. This was the best phase before I sold her at 330k miles on original motor and autragic trans.
