How many Z Nismos on Long Island?

How does the auto pipe sound on the manual? Thats what I was trying to do before I ended up with Z1's single exit.

I never personally compared. But from what others have said, it supposedly sounds a lot better than the M/T version.
I went from stock A/T version to AWE Touring. I really liked the sound and tone of the AWE, but decided to go back to stock because I started to use the car more for daily duties, and more highway driving.

Yeah, the manual stock cat back was super quiet. I'm running LDP's and a single exit and I am happy with it for now.

Welcome! I am 1/2 way out on Long Island, and I've only seen 1 other Nismo in the past 2 1/2 years!
I go to Monticello all the time, maybe I'll see you there some time! I also go to NY Safety track (I was there about a week ago), we also like to go to Thompson, and Palmer. I usually join Mass Tuning. They are a great group to run with.
Are you completely stock, or do you have any mods? Did you happen to take note of your lap times at Monticello?

have you done any mods yet or still stock? Also what is everyone doing for cold weather tires I haven’t picked up anything yet, I am leaning towards continental extreme contacts Dws06.

The only mods I've done were better brake pads (Carbotech XP-8), and better brake fluid (Motul RBF660). As is, it really does well on the track. I'm trying to keep it as stock as possible because I drive it to and from the track, and I also use it as my daily driver. I think for my next set of tires, I may try the Yokohama Advan 09 (or whatever they call them, lol). They are supposed to wear better than the stock ones (and I think stick better as well!). I don't use cold weather tires, because I have other cars that I use in the winter. However, it doesn't prevent me from using the car all year long as long as the roads are clean and dry. Of course, in the winter I have to drive VERY gently if I'm using summer tires.
I have the DWS06 on my wife's BMW, and I like them a lot! I also really like the Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4 tires. The Michelins are a little better on the dry, and steering feel, etc. But the Continentals are better in the bad weather and snow.

I was looking at that they’re driving into manhattan after too. I couldn’t do that to this car. Let’s try to plan something on better roads lol

ahh I forgot my stainless steel brake lines and brake fluid swap to the same. How do you like the new brake pads?

I like that they last twice as long as the stock pads. I was only getting 2 track days out of the stock pads. I get 5 days out of the XP-8's. They have a good bite, and don't fade. The downside is that they get noisy for street use sometimes. I don't mind because I expect that out of performance brakes. My other car with carbon ceramics, sings loudly. lol

My biggest complaint is that the car is just too heavy. You feel the weight of the car. It handles it well, considering, but nothing handles like a light car! Last week at New York Safety Track, I hit 1.5G's (lateral). I was thoroughly impressed.
I lose confidence in the brakes once the session goes more than 20 minutes. Ideally, that car should have lighter weight 2 piece rotors, so they can stay cooler, and have less rotational mass. If I did more track days with it, or was trying to be competitive, that's the only upgrade I would do.

Messed up that post and don’t know how to fix it sorry . I had a ceramic coater/powder coating place recommended to me in Oceanside twinz coating really reasonable and good reviews. They’re doing my lower down pipes inside and out for $150 total. I’m doing Ams 3” race lower down pipes that eliminate the secondary cats and awe touring
