It almost feels like there’s more Nismos out there than performance or sports
Last fall there were like 800 but that was 8 months ago. got to be 1k-1200 at this point
Total 2024 VINs are hard to track as there are so many but I saw a 4586 the the day.
Nissan made too many NISMO in my opinion as it's a niche on top of niche 70k car

After I got my Performance I have kept an eye on Z sales around here and the two nissan dealers closest to me in total have 6 Nismo's for sale and 3 Performance. I have yet to see a Sport for sale where I live since I started looking about 4 months ago.
However the only other new Z I have seen on the road was a Sport trim.

I'm pretty confident nismo production is 30% or less of total Z's . I almost think it could be closer to 20% even though it feels like they are everywhere. That would be put it 900-1300ish. I got a text in to someone trying to look up the actual numbers .
I'm curious myself as if someone would have asked me a year ago I would have said 400-500 max but I grossly underestimated it lol

I've only seen 2 Z's in the wild, and never saw a NIsmo (until I bought one, lol)
In my area, I see all kinds of cars, including exotics, etc. so I'm shocked that I haven't seen many.
I like having a car that is unique, so I guess it's a good thing! But if they only made about 1200 Nismos, that means about 24 per state, so I guess that explains why I haven't seen another in the wild.

The supply is more than the demand, that's for sure - when it comes to the Z Nismo. The high starting price doesn't help either.

Glad to see they are getting production to a decent number. We may start actually seeing other Zs in the wild in the next year or two. My area is usually blessed with new car model spotting but the Z has been one of the harder to find.
saw looking through Z inventory on nissans site and found NISMOs in the 4800's so lets say there will be close to 5K Zs at Just 20% thats 1K.
