Yes.

Nissan Australia is requiring a reconfirmation as Coupe allocation will occur in the next little while.

We are getting close to having ETAs. :)
Dealer just confirmed order with me, they got 6 cars on the first allocation but still do not know the ETA of the cars

I believe WA is only expecting around 20 cars total (25 dealers in WA)…gonna take a long while to clear that back log at this rate

Oh also Newstead Eagers Nissan (Brisbane) appears to have a blue Z as a demo. Possibly the one I posted earlier out at the port

Got windows tinted and paint/interior protection done today. The cleanest it will ever be. The guys at the shop were heaping a lot of love on the car.

I went with their graphene and ceramic paint protection which is supposedly stronger than the just the ceramic protection.

They were trying to sell me on PPF which does sound great but it's pretty exxy (around $6k for the whole vehicle).

Update…just called him…he said yes, they have been asked to confirm but he didn’t bother calling the first few on his list because we bug him all the time ( in different words) and knew we were still in, so my order has already been reconfirmed.
He is hoping to have ETAs soon

I’m willing to bet that a lot of dealers won’t call incase some has pulled the pin and then they don’t get the car…this is entirely my opinion only nothing factual to base it on
But imagine being these dealers and not having any or very very few dealer delivery fees come in for almost two years. That’s why they are struggling to hold onto staff ATM
I’ve never hassled them and I haven’t had a call either. Will need to give them a call tomorrow. Thanks for all the leg work with our dealer.

Sounds like a smart decision. $6k (or even th difference) pays for a lot of detailing over the years.

I won’t be getting one of those as an early June 22 order - unless of course I’m high up the list for a Gun Metallic, Black M/T and they happen to get 20 of those.

Hold off a couple of days…apparently he is hoping to have more details by the end of the week

What do you mean window tinting….doesn’t it come with tinted windows.
At that price I would have thought so

If you don’t mind me asking how much did they sting you for the protection pack you did get?

I’d be surprised if it comes tinted. That’s where the dealer’s make most of there money! I recently became aware of a despicable trade practice where car dealers will strip perfectly good tint of traded cars because it gives them a chance of selling new tint at silly margins. It becomes a bit obvious when a car has been traded back to a dealer at <12 months old with <5000km with tint that was originally sold at new by the same dealer - and then it appears on the used car lot minus the perfectly good tint. They were pretty embarrassed when called out about it. Tried to say that it was a safety thing and that they couldn’t assume it was legal tint - which was complete bollocks and they knew it. The ended up admitting to the practice.

Yes, the windows aren't tinted from factory. The whole package was $1700. It would have been $1400 without the graphene.
