Such individuals are normally viewed with some suspicion as not being the full bottle. You lot have me a tad concerned with this behaviour 🤔😅
We spend hours on a forum for a car that barely exists, we're already pretty far from normal. 🤓

Ha, in the rail we get Gunzels - train enthusiasts - out perched on hills/bridges or in the scrub taking photos of trains/locomotives. Such individuals are normally viewed with some suspicion as not being the full bottle. You lot have me a tad concerned with this behaviour 🤔😅
This guy has become pretty famous from it though lol:

I’m the lazy version🤣….looked on line at the ports cameras ( anyone can access) here in WA ( Freo port) doesn’t seem to be hardly any new cars waiting for transport, and sure as heck no Zs
Driving that way tomorrow regardless so might take a closer look just in case

I'm thinking that the way things are going that Nissan may probably want to have some sort of official Australian launch event for the Z before we see anyone driving around in one.
That way they get the launch and official release to sale around the same time and that will have a bigger impact than to start delivery of cars with no official announcement.

@peter I keep asking local Sales Manager exactly this. He said the Rep is adamant that Nissan Au want these cars on the road ASAP and there won’t be a drawn out media/demo phase beforehand.

If they are smart…they won’t.
What is the point of a big song and dance when you can’t provide what you are selling.
They have enough orders to last until mid next year…at least that is what was reported around two months ago. By now the wait is probably even longer.
They don’t need more hype, they need to keep their customers happy.

I'mm 100% sure that will be happening.

there will be a certain date and cars will be in owners hands that day.

they did same with GTR and some other cars.
got units to dealers

and on a certain date every one in first batch got them on the exact same day.
(certain dealerships opened at Midnight so they could be "first" to deliver.)

Well that would be interesting..opening up at 12am, for a single buyer to rush in and get their car…possibly 2

wasn't questioning it, just found the article after I had been away from PC for a bit.

dealer did it for the publicity.

Ourlocal Subaru dealer dida 9am delivery on release date for WRX as well to get it in the local paper.

(side note, and this pains me massivly. After test driving the manual and "auto" the CVT in the WRX the CVT is much better than the manual)
