After a lot of listening to exhaust noise videos on youtube I decided to go with a Fujitsubo catback on my Z. I'm Australian and our dollar is great against the Yen at the moment which made this a bit of a bargain, though I didn't realise that it didn't include the midpipe as most other Z exhausts do - I've got that on order now. It's a 3 inch pipe and it sounds super nice at idle and low revs vs. the stock exhaust, but I'm excited to hear what it sounds like once I get the mid pipe and eventually downpipes/intake/tune.
I haven't worked on cars much before but I did this install myself and it was a lot of fun.
