no need to install plate as shown , many options are available to hide plate either manually or motorized when needed . Living in NY LI the Police are very good and do not make an issue about it unless your acting like a jerk .

Yeah...that’s not gonna happen in Aus. It’s illegal to not have your front plates on show at all times. Massive fines for it not on display even in car parks etc

One good thing about living in Ohio is they don't require front plate anymore. But if Nissan doesn't change the front grill design before release, I may be tempted to put one on anyway as it breaks it up a bit IMO.

Here in BC, front plates are mandatory and cannot be altered in anyway. Its ok though its just the way its always been

I’ll be getting custom plates for my DV plates. Not sure what they’ll say yet though.
