FAO Nissan: Glossy Black Interior Surfaces — Not Good

I like to wear polarized Ray Ban sunglasses when driving. I've had a few rental cars that have this issue and good quality polarized sunglasses help.
I'm not usually a fancy sunglasses kinda guy, but cheaper "polarized" sunglasses are nowhere near as effective as Ray Bans.

Also helps when driving behind certain vehicles like a pickup truck where the sun catches the chrome on the tailgate or camper shell glass just right.....

It's absolutely possible to minimize/eliminate glare (and fingerprints) on display screens. Industries such as marine and aviation have been proving this for years on their displays with various technologies, and those examples are almost always in direct sunlight. And like I said earlier in this thread, even Nissan themselves understands this issue and has actually already addressed it on the Z's main instrument display behind steering wheel. Unlike the Z's infotainment display which is glossy, highly reflective, and a fingerprint magnet, Nissan used an anti-glare/fingerprint coating on the main instrument display.

A combination of using a glossy/reflective display (and buttons), the angle of the display and buttons in relation to the viewers' eyes, and the position of the offending light source at any given moment, in this case the sun, which not only moves throughout the day, but the vehicle is also moving, so all these factors listed are constantly dynamic.
