My minor update is that I finally got a scanner with Nissan specifics. Cleared airbag history and the dash light went off.
If anyone puts in another seat, don't drive around without at least a resistor hooked up. Standing on/offs are fine but I guess when you drive with it a history code gets stored. History code illuminates the dash light until it's cleared....
