Do I have get a tune with AMS Catted Full Downpipe?

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for a louder exhaust noise for my Z, and I DO NOT want to tune my car, right now from what I know:
If I only change the catback exhaust, it won't be loud, only a tiny bit louder than stock
If I change lower downpipe, only a tiny bit louder
So, I know that I have to change the Full downpipe (upper downpipe + lower downpipe)
I know that if I go catless full dp, I will have to get a tune, mainly because of the CEL will come on, and the car might get into limp mode or something? the flow might be weird and the car will drive weird? I'm not too sure. I don't really like catless downpipe, sounds raspy

It seems like the AMS catted full downpipe are the best option for me, NO CEL, sounds better and louder without being too raspy. I'm looking at the AMS catted full downpipe, because I heard that it does not throw CEL, at least not for now? Will it pop CEL in the future? I'm not sure

Can anyone who installed AMS catted full downpipe share their experience?

*Right now my question is that If I install AMS catted full downpipe do I need a tune? I will go track very often, and I DO NOT want to tune my car. I just want to make sure the car will be fine installing AMS catted full downpipe without a tune.

I can tell you first hand that lower downpipes with a 3 inch catback is not "just a little louder" lol. Its WAYYY fucking louder than stock. Ive ran both the AWE Touring and Track versions with AMS lower downpipes and the coldstart can wake the neighbors. The track edition rattles my dashboard it's so loud lol. I would highly caution against trying to go louder than that. Maybe with a 2.5 inch catback it wouldn't be as bad but even that will be significantly louder.

Just changing lower downpipe alone will not have CEL right? I do not want to deal with any CEL

It is recommended on these cars to tune after any change in airflow. It almost always causes overboost and premature wear on the turbos and possibly failure. Overboosting can also cause other issues. Why are you against a tune? If you are worried about the dealer you can flash it back to stock and if they don't go deep diving into they wont see anything.

If you get a CEL you will just need to install defoulers.

The AMS lowers will not throw a CEL.
