Hi! I’m planning to do the same thing. How did you remove the z badge from rear trunk?
Hey!
It's not hard. Use fishing line to get behind the emblem and go back and fourth. One it was loose I slowly peeled it off. If there is any leftover glue on the car it rubs off easily with your finger.

Awesome, thank you! Was nervous bc I’ve never done this before. Did you use heat?

I did not use heat. I really would only use heat on decals but thats just personal experience. I was nervous but the emblem came off a lot easier than I expected.

here are a couple pix of it so you can get an idea. Also it does have a little curve to it to conform to the bumper.

I would LOVE to remove the front and rear 'NISSAN' emblems, but unfortunately the front one is recessed into nose fascia with guide pins, and the rear one is integrated with hatch button, so removing them is not an option. It would be awesome if someone offered high quality replacement emblems for front and rear that had the 'Z' logo instead of 'NISSAN'. I will be removing the rear 'Z' emblem though because the OEM placement of it not being vertically centered with hatch button emblem due to raised area in its panel drives my OCD crazy.

I kept the original z logo just blacked it out and added Fairlady. Some uniqueness I guess.

Just debating on how to dress up the heritage pillar badge. Ideas?

No problem. Looks great on white! Nice job! Yeah I was surprised at how easy it was to take off the Z and the adhesive for it.

"Fairlady" kind of hidden on my Rosewood from a distance / depending on the lighting but I still think it looks better than just having the "Z". So glad the Japanese badging comes with that blue foam to line it up! ?

Hey fam. Since we don’t have options to replace or remove our badges I decided to dip mine. I went with Brass Monkey plasti-dip. Let me know what you think.
