Hello Z fellows,
i am a long time Nissan Z fan, and built and did all the mods you can think of on Z33
Recently got delivery of a Manual 23 Z Performance Pack and started mods right away
i purchased ecutek from @mastuning
started looking at how is the car reacting stock and plan my performanced mods accordingly
stock i noticed that the heat exchanger would be around 105 just crusing around
say i did a pull 2nd/3rd/4th the temps would reach 132 ( this is just 1 run)
what was the best in the market (AMS)
now crusing speeds my temps are around 96
1 full run as previous would only increase to 109
in hot weather this is a huge win!
in terms of sound, and looking at the stock exhaust setup. i measured the inner diameter of the y-pipe was around 2 inch if not less.
sound was next on the list, which i proceeded to order the Army Trix Turboback
since the manual trans dont have valve control, i opted the valvtronic system
best feature is through the app you can customize the valve opening
by RPM/Boost
3rd Part is tuning, which i noticed the stock Z only peaks boost around 1 bar close to 5200rpm, before that its very linear and slow for my taste in terms of low end torque!
getting a tune from #mastuned boost was changed to around 16 PSI, and helped low end big time. now its more fun for sure.
next would be
intercoolers (which i am still on the fence) interchiller is really something to consider
Flex system (is for sure especially going as simple as E20/E30) which no doubt will help in power
power goals 500-550 would be perfect as beyond that it just spins especially with the gearing the car has
