Ok before you start with “why would you buy an Auto” I had both a 90 and 92 300ZX Twin Turbo and both 5 speed manual’s, so yes I love manuals. This Z is a compromise with my wife who will daily drive it and I will have it on the weekends, plus I am older now.

So, I have not seen any good interior pics of the AT, if I missed them or you have some, please post. Thanks.

I mean as far as the interior goes it looks exactly the same except for the gear selection shifter. There's a bunch of pics already posted in other threads.

likely nearly 99% sold will be AT
In Canada, the performance spec with the manual transmission appears to have sold out before any other trim/transmission option.

Of course, we don't know how many of each were allotted.

I hate this shifter
Me too. I’m getting an auto as well but that just looks a maxi pad lol.

I have the Q50. I love the shifter In the auto. I can shift manually and down shift with ease.
Wish they used that one on the Q50

Not sure what you mean, but that pic is taken from the new Z. There's nothing else different to see for the 9AT.?

That's what the paddle shifters are for.

I would really like the new Auto but I have so many questions and it does not look like they will be answered until we are closer to release. Like, how does the Auto hold up to extra power or even racing (road course and Autox)? Is that the final version of the shifter? Why is the manual the only one with a carbon driveshaft? I know the 370Z was like that but I have not seen anything on the released forms about it on the new Z.
