Car(s)
23’ Z Performance Manual
Hey folks, this car has never been on a track nor even launched. My brother and I acquired the car new. After a religious break-in it went directly to the incredible folks at SOHO. We started with over $20k in best-of-breed parts. SOHO tuned via EcuTek and we couldn't have been happier with the work (as always with SOHO). The car flys (Dyno attached). About that time I got distracted by an R35 while my brother got jammed up with a GT3-RS. The Z was occasionally driven but nowhere near what we had hoped.

Basics:
Year: 2023
Trim: Performance Manual (window sticker pictured below)
Miles: 5,200
VIN: JN1BZ4BH2PM311170 (carfax pulled 7/17 for you)

It has just under 5,200 miles on it. Most of those are from driving from NC to KY, then KY to NC and back. I took possession of the car (relinquishing the R35) and promptly delivered it to the good folks at Lyndsay & Lyndsay in Louisville for tint and PPF. The entire front-end has XPEL PPF and windows were treated with XPEL Prime XR. The katanas were wrapped in gloss black. I then installed AMS's intakes and Mishimoto's catch can while getting the exhaust tips powder-coated black. I was unable to drive it much so I decided to sound deaden and upgrade the audio.

Fast forward to now and my wife and I have our hearts set on a backdraft racing cobra build but we simply haven't the space for it and I refuse to store anything outside.

The car is in immaculate condition. I'm OCD about care & maintenance which you may have gathered from my previous posts. Price on the car is $50k.

If you're in need of an incredible trailer I happen to have just snagged a Futura RT500 at a great deal and would be willing to offer an even better deal to you. Here are more details on it, this is the same trailer my brother uses for his GT3-RS, they are amazing. I've included a few pics below of the Z loaded on it. Loading & unloading is very smooth. I'll include the dog-bone and 8-point straps seen in the pics below. The trailer is essentially new so I've got all docs/pamphlets etc.

I'd part with the car and the trailer for $60k. The trailer has less than 300 miles on it and they can't be touched for less than $12k without the $800 rock guard upgrade. Being aluminum it is light enough for one person to move around which is very handy.

I've included all the receipts below with the exception of the Z1/Akebono 2-piece rotors, they were also installed by SOHO and I'm awaiting that work order/invoice to post. Also included is a blend-mount and Uniden R3. I'd feel bad leaving a naked mount and the R3 is hard to beat. I'm also including the Red Tiger F17 Elite camera system that I recently installed.

This car is in amazing condition. I'm firm on price but would be willing to meet for test-drives. If you want the car & the trailer I can help with logistics etc.

Here is a link to the SOHO invoice/statement of work. It is getting compressed when I try to upload it onto the site (below). https://drive.google.com/file/d/1o3mS5c5XVeE5Kgo_F7_tP1t4FHxKdU--/view?usp=drive_link

Thanks a ton y’all!
If I had space for a trailer I would definitely low ball you so we can thank the fact I don't have space for not going down that path lol. I just know myself, I don't like it, but I would ?

FWIW folks I may be putting it and the trailer on BAT via MotorVault. I told them I need $55k for the car and trailer so $55k takes them both but that’s my absolute bottom.

If I go BAT it won’t be for at least 2 weeks so deal stands until it’s listed.

$50+K for a used 23 Performance? I purchased an used 23 with about 8K miles for $39,750. Mods hardly return any value. Hope you find someone to buy it at your asking price.

You are absolutely correct, which is why mine is very reasonably priced. I’m not sure if it was intended but sharing the “deal” you got serves to bolster the justification for jumping on mine. I’m glad you feel you got a good deal on yours, it’s a fantastic platform with great potential…

If you end up doing anything to yours (from PPF & tint to wheels, brakes, proper suspension, raw power with a sorted clutch and great audio) I guarantee my car will haunt you. It probably already is as you re-read the invoices and zoom in on the photos.

Once again you can ask whatever you like for your spectacularly modded Z and hope you get it! I’ve traded cars and motorcycles with mods and you never get what you put in it. Now when the dealer sales it he definitely uses them to raise the price. I guess if you want something to track your car would definitely be appealing, but I don’t personally know many hard core weekend tracker.

For arguments sake let's break it out like this
MegZ car - ~$40,000 used, no mods (I am assuming)
Stayingtuned car - ~$50,000 price, $30,000 in mods

For $10,000 additional dollars you get approximately $30,000 in parts and whatever the labor cost you.

You get all the value for only 1/3 the cost.

I know people would use that thought process to immediately think, '$30K+ in parts and labor for only $10K cost?! I HAVE to buy this, I'd lose money if I didn't!"

I didn't go through the whole list but I saw Quality stuff... kw coilovers, AMS heat exchanger, ppf, etc etc

Now if my math is wrong I'll correct it because I didn't actually open the list and work orders and all that but based on what I'm reading I don't believe it is a bad deal at all, especially when I saw a dealer offering a new performance for $54,000 just today.

On the flip side they would be buying a used modded car at least two years old that is almost out of warranty or none at all due to its extensive mods for the price of a new one. Z prices are dropping, on this forum alone there are numerous post of people getting 7-10K off. My completely stock Z still had about 16 months of warranty left which was one of the reason I purchased it. That being said as the saying going it only takes one!
Lastly I hope you get what you think it’s worth.

It really depends on the local market. Look at the Panama City Beach Nissan dealership they have plenty of performance listed for 54k+. In the US you can't void a warranty based on mods. However, if the dealership can prove that a mod caused an issue then yeah, they can deny a claim, but the warranty is to good to go
