No need for additional resistor/relay. The Recaro baseframe already includes side airbag wire to cancel the stock one. You also need to attach the seat occupant sensor to the Recaro to avoid airbag warning ?
I replaced the stock seats from my Nissan Z Performance MT with Recaro SR-S. Feels very much OEM but way better driving position. Lumbar support is good with ample lateral bolsters for spirited driving. This new release Recaro SR-S were specifically designed for modern-day sports cars with low...
I am a Cusco fan and I can attest to their products being used as OE for Motorsports, but mostly uses their Power Braces/Roll Cages. I had seen issues with their sway bars so I opted with Eibach in combination with the suspension setup of my other cars. (Sways & Springs)
I haven’t see sway bars...
Thanks for your inputs. I’ve already installed front and rear sway bars in my Performance MT. Made the Z really planted in the corners. Felt the Z is now more closer to a handling sports car when pushing it to the curves. One of the best things you can do to your Z ??
My initial impression with my stock Performance Z MT was a bit of a dissapointment but understandable. Since the suspensjon is a bit “soft & floaty”, you know you really can’t push the car too much in the street. It lagged behind my other cars (stock 86, FK8 and GR Yaris) handling wise. It...
Just buy a USB A or C bluetooth dongle. It will make make your Headunit into a seamless wireless Apple Car Play or Android Auto. Use the cigarette port as your USB phone charger (fast charger)
Your wheel fitment @APEX Wheels for the A90 Supra is top notch and well detailed down to specific specs for wheel and tire combination! Hoping we can have those as well for the Z ?
Thank you and welcome to the community!
I’ll be getting the Z1 chassis lower front and rear tie bars. Just thinking of which sway bar route to go.
Also thinking of adjustable lower arms to dial geometry better for my street/track setup
Anyone who installed upgraded sway bars? For an FR platform (front engine, rear wheel drine) upgraded sway bars usually bring more out of the car?
I’m thinking Eibach sway bars or Cusco? Any thoughts on this? I’ve done Eibach sway bars in my Toyota 86 and worked really well.
Hi guys! I’m really looking to 18s for the Z as these have more choices in wheel designs and tire availability. Plan to use Michelin PS4S tires with wheel setup:
18x9.5 +15 x 265/35/18 front
18x10.5 +15 x 285/35/18 rear
stock height suspension
Any idea if these would fit and be viable for the...
