The plastics scratch easily and the handle in which you grab to close the door also scratches with your nails… so cheap interior. The fabric (blue trim) is similar to an Alcantara. Still nice even if it’s not top grade material.

I’ve got it coming from the left hand side which is where my passenger sits, but behind. Kind of where the suspension is in the trunk area… I had the Aus/JDM right hand drive Z, so perhaps it’s like yours, driver side hah Over pot holes or uneven surfaces or even the reflectors on the road...
